Programs / Interfaith Engagement

Building friendship across faiths.

URC brings people of many traditions together to learn from one another, pray side by side and work for the common good.

Understanding that grows into friendship

URC began in 1942 as the St. Joseph County Church Trust and re-formed in 1972 as the county's interfaith organization. Today our members include many Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Baha'i and other faith communities.

Learning about one another's traditions promotes peace and reconciliation, and it deepens our understanding of our own faith and its place in the world. Every gathering is open to all.
