Services

We provide assistance to individuals and families in crisis through our Advocacy Center, and operate the Victim Impact Panel.

Tuesday 12:00-2:00

Wednesdays 12:00 – 2:00

Walk-in’s Welcome but Appointments Preferred

As of January 31, 2012 the Advocacy Center offers assistance in the following areas:

Assistance with heating bills (1 time per year; income qualified)

Assistance with birth certificates

Assistance with resumes

Assistance with person centered life and goal planning (including guidance on obtaining financial aid, education, work opportunities)

Assistance with the first two weeks of transportation via Transpo to a verifiable, paid, permanent job.

Assistance with mandatory work gear such as steel toed work boots, CNA style uniforms, or non-slip shoes for individuals returning to the workforce.

Assistance to individuals who do not have legal documentation to reside in the United States

Referrals to other social services and survival to sustainability planning assistance

We offer other emergency services on a case-by-case basis and accept direct referrals from other organizations so please do not hesitate to call if you need assistance. We are here to help.
