Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary and Notre Dame's Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies are co-sponsoring  PEACE AMONG THE PEOPLES, a gathering of ecumenically minded Christian peacemakers.  This conference is an opportunity to reflect on the future of ecumenical peacemaking in North America and beyond. The event will be held from July 28th to 31st and will be located in Elkhart, Indiana at the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary.  Call Kathy at 574-631-9370 for details. The meeting will include panel presentations from leading thinkers and activists such as Stanley Hauerwas, Rita Nakashima Brock and Brian McLaren.  Participants will have opportunities to engage presenters on contemporary issues as well as discuss the future of ecumenical peacemaking in North America.  Morning prayer and evening confessional worship will frame the beginning and the ending of each day.
