Volunteers are needed to work on-to-one with Advocacy Center clients who are seeking assistance:
- Completing client intake forms
- Documenting required information
- name
- address
- household composition
- income
- employment status
- nature of the situation/need
- supporting documentation (lease, utilitiy bill, etc.)
Volunteering at the Advocacy Centers provides an excellent opportunity for those seeking hands-on experience working with people who are challenged to meet their basic needs. We ask that our volunteers commit to work two hours per week, either Monday Wednesday or Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at our downtown South Bend facility located at 117 N. Lafayette Boulevard, or 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday or Thursday at our Mishawaka facility located at 215 S. Union Street. Thank you for your interest in helping those less fortunate!
